The problem

Cognitive sharpness is not only about focus today. Nerve growth and repair slow with age, and nothing in an ordinary diet does much to support them.

Third-party tested
cGMP certified
Ships from the US

Hericium erinaceus, a culinary mushroom studied for two compound families, hericenones and erinacines, that stimulate nerve growth factor. NGF is the protein your body uses to grow and maintain neurons. Of every mushroom sold for brain health, this is the one with an actual mechanism attached to the claim.

The nerve growth factor work is well established in cell and animal models. Human data is smaller but real: a Japanese trial in older adults with mild cognitive impairment found scores improved during supplementation and slid back after they stopped. Later trials point to effects on mood and mild cognitive measures. The honest read is a strong mechanism with early human evidence, and we would rather you hear that from us.

Best for: Knowledge workers, anyone with a family history of cognitive decline, and anyone who wants a brain-focused compound with more behind it than packaging.

Not for: Anyone with a mushroom allergy. If you have asthma, note that a small number of reports link Lion's Mane to respiratory sensitivity. There is not enough pregnancy data to recommend it there.

Daily, with or without food. Most people describe the effect as a gradual lift in clarity rather than anything sharp. Trials ran 8 to 16 weeks, so give it two months before you decide.

Manufactured in a US-based, cGMP-certified facility and third-party tested. Certificate of analysis available on request.
